Voile Banque Populaire chooses high availability for its website
Voile Banque Populaire has just selected a new media distribution and storage tool (videos and photos) developed by the Sea Events/ Inodia agencies. To host its new platform, the company has renewed its confidence in NFrance.
In 1990, the "Voile Banque Populaire" project was born with Francis Joyon, official skipper of the first trimaran in the history of "La Banque de la Voile". For over 30 years, the Banque Populaire has accompanied all major sailing events.
Since 2015, NFrance has been supporting BPCE Voile in the hosting and facilities management of its web platform dedicated to Sailing events.
Voile Banque Populaire has just selected a new media distribution and storage tool (videos and photos) developed by Sea Events/ Inodia agencies. To host its new platform, it has renewed its confidence in NFrance.
This is a website specifically designed and dedicated to events meeting the following requirements:
- A powerful powerful platform with extensive resources for web front-end and data/video back-end
- A redundant redundant capable of providing high-availability service for media events
- A platform dedicated to processing and servicing video content (operated by Sea Events), with extensive storage space and the technical capacity to transcode transcoding of multimedia data
- A platform equipped with a strong and secure authentication system for processing (Distribution list management according to specifications and/or deployment prerequisites)
The new high-availability cluster will enable applications to be isolated in separate environments, providing :
- A improved safetyThis is achieved in particular by limiting the risk of lateral attack, and by limiting the exposure surface,
- The possibility of to upgrade each platform independently according to the distinct technical needs of each application (e.g. PHP versions).
The aim is to launch this new platform for the next sailing bank highlight: the start of the Transat AG2R la mondiale on April 19 with Armel Le Cléac'h.
