THE CHATEAU LISTRAN 2000:
The limpid and shiny dress has a deep garnet colour with intense purplished hue. The nose combines dominant
fruits and discrete spices - strawberry, cherry and prune on the one hand and liquorice, nutmeg on the other
hand - and develops towards warm notes of cocoa, cinammon and crystallized orange peels. Refreshening and
consistent attack in mouth. The flexible and nevertheless firm tanins contribute to the solid and ripe
structure of this vintage. During the retro-smell, the spice flavours first dominate to finish with a fresh
fruity bouquet: raspberries and currants. Already pleasant and tempting, it lets foresee a beautiful potential
which will reveal itself after years. In 2004, it will be best appreciated when opened one day before tasting.
