THE CHATEAU LISTRAN 1998:
Ruby-red robe with pretty dark, shiny and neat sheen. The nose is strong, with a flavour of ripe fruits,
réglissés. When allowed to breathe, this vintage releases a flavour of game, first spicy then roasted.
The attack is savoury for the whole of the mouth, followed by a nice sustain and a delicate and long
lasting sensation. It gently decays towards a delicate taste of wood. This vintage deserves to be aged
until at least 2008 to enjoy its full potential!
THE CHATEAU LISTRAN 1999:
Dark red colour, almost black. The nose is strong, with a flavour of plum and apricot. The tasting reveals
an elegant wine, rich, soft and ample. The fruity aromas, tampered by the conservation in oak barrel, are
progressively appearing amidst beautiful tannins; touches of pepper. It will be best between 2003 and 2008.
